“Say to all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth month and in the seventh, for these seventy years, was it for me that you fasted?” Zechariah 7:5 ESV https://bible.com/bible/59/zec.7.5.ESV
Why: Biblical fasting redirects motivation—from self-discipline to God-dependence.
Prompt: Am I fasting to change God’s hand or to change my heart?

I want God to change my heart. Every time I put into practice putting my hope in him and not people, being grateful in all things, not worrying about anything but pray about everything, it has changed my thought process. It’s changed how I see everything. I have more compassion for people. God continue to poor into me so that your fruits of the spirit poor out of me.
